Context

This multi-enterprise supply chain management platform enables organizations to identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues across their end-to-end supply chain. By providing actionable visibility and a shared source of truth, it helps internal teams and external partners collaborate more effectively, streamline issue resolution, and reduce supply chain disruptions.

Challenge

Supply chain issue resolution was often slowed by fragmented information, outdated data, and communication scattered across multiple channels. Without a centralized source of truth, teams struggled to efficiently investigate issues, coordinate responses, and identify opportunities to prevent similar problems in the future.

My Role

After inheriting the project from another designer, I led UX/UI design efforts for several core supply chain management workflows, including incident tracking, document reviews, task creation, and change requests.

My work included requirements analysis, functional specification updates, and interface design. Leveraging the existing design system, I collaborated with cross-functional stakeholders to refine solutions, align designs with business requirements, and support successful implementation.

Reflections & Learnings

This project gave me valuable insight into the complexities of supply chain issue management and the importance of a centralized source of truth. By streamlining access to information and collaboration across stakeholders, the application helps organizations resolve issues faster and reduce future disruptions.

Frequent changes to requirements required flexibility and close partnership with program management and technical communications. Through continuous design reviews and iterative feedback, I refined solutions that aligned user needs with evolving business and technical requirements.
